The Role
The 2026 Futuristic Tech Strategist will work closely with our CTO and product teams to forecast technology trends, assess potential disruptions, and develop strategic roadmaps for the next five years. This role requires a deep understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast emerging technology trends to inform strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future technologies into product development.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and other frontier technologies.
- Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology strategy, product development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing emerging technologies.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience addressing executive audiences.
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, quantum computing, blockchain, biotech).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
