Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to map 5-10 year strategic pathways
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for organizational adaptation to 2026+ disruptions
- Lead cross-functional 'Future-Proofing' initiatives with engineering, marketing, and product teams
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with quantifiable impact projections
- Champion innovation through thought leadership at industry summits and publications
- Design resilience protocols for supply chain and workforce evolution planning
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning and horizon scanning projects
