Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and innovation pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech incubators
- Design and deploy organizational resilience protocols for technological and societal disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of proactive innovation
- Present strategic blueprints to investors and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (articles, whitepapers)
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementation of foresight insights
