Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using advanced scenario modeling and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable insights for product development and investment decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer next-gen methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists while driving adoption of AI-driven analytical tools
- Present strategic visions to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting 2026 technology landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning with demonstrable impact on long-term product roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience working with quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
