Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI/ML, quantum systems, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and resource allocation for prototyping
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies in development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling emerging tech from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major conferences
- Portfolio of launched products or technologies with >$50M market impact
- Fluency in innovation frameworks (TRIZ, Lean Startup, Stage-Gate)
