Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-ready solutions with 20+ industry partners
- Forecast societal impacts of technological advancements through AI-driven trend analysis
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding by presenting visionary proposals to Fortune 100 executives
- Author white papers on future technology ethics and governance frameworks
- Mentor PhD candidates in our 'Future Leaders' accelerator program
- Collaborate with UN bodies on global technology policy for 2026 sustainability goals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum applications
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from concept to global deployment
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, brain-computer interfaces, or climate tech
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit)
- Experience securing government/VC funding for multi-million dollar R&D initiatives
- Portfolio of 3+ technologies currently in pilot phase with Fortune 500 companies
- Validated ability to forecast market trends with 90%+ accuracy
