Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Chair cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Author quarterly trend reports and executive briefings on technological shifts
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for R&D collaboration
- Advise leadership on ethical implications and risk mitigation for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven expertise in forecasting technology trends and market disruption
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year technology horizons
- Certification in Futures Studies, Technology Foresight, or equivalent
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author in technology journals or industry whitepapers
