Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology strategies targeting 2026 market readiness for AI, quantum computing, and next-gen biotech
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers and researchers to prototype and scale breakthrough innovations
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling technical roadmaps and stakeholder presentations
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Mentor junior talent and build an innovation-focused culture within the organization
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and market analysis methodologies
- Strong leadership experience managing R&D teams of 15+ professionals
- Demonstrated ability to secure multi-million dollar research funding
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent patents
