Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026 technology roadmaps, prioritizing quantum-secure architectures and carbon-negative AI systems
- Develop patent strategies for emerging technologies in neuromorphic computing and ambient IoT ecosystems
- Direct $15M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation for prototyping and pilot deployments
- Establish industry-first standards for ethical AI governance and decentralized data frameworks
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our FutureFounders accelerator program
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to commercial deployment
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or ambient AI
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) with 50+ citations
- Experience securing $10M+ in government innovation grants or venture capital
- Fluency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and distributed systems architecture
