Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Organize warehouse inventory by sorting, stacking, and shelving products accurately to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Operate scanning equipment and inventory management systems to track stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and operational goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
- Assist in quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards before shipping.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
