Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport freight safely and efficiently to and from delivery trucks.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, strictly following safety regulations.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and organize stock to maintain optimal storage conditions.
- Pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision.
- Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a strong plus but not mandatory for all roles.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago facility.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
