Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and stock inventory on shelves and in storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Packaging: Prepare products for shipment by properly boxing, labeling, and sealing packages according to company standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects before processing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on warehouse machinery and tools.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy to meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills for safety instructions and inventory labels.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
