Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks using forklifts or hand trucks in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Sort, pack, and label packages accurately according to shipping requirements.
- Operate scanning equipment and inventory management systems to track stock levels.
- Assist in inventory audits to ensure accuracy of stock on hand.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies strictly to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new processes quickly.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
