Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or CNA certification
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Valid CA driver's license (if transporting patients)
