Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Prepare patients for treatments and collect vital signs
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen processing
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (early mornings/evenings)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
