Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to move products within the warehouse.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate and up to code.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular stock counts and maintain accurate records of inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects and report any issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and efficient to ensure a smooth workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work Full Time hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
