Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming freight to maintain precise stock levels.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy to meet daily quotas.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of inventory and shipping documents to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy (typing and data entry).
- License: Valid driver's license (clean driving record) and ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a consistent full-time schedule.
