Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to disrupt traditional business models through innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify market inflection points
- Design and pilot minimum viable futures scenarios for potential business pivots
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and mentor an innovation lab team of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of implementing transformative business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with venture capital ecosystem and startup scaling
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio of published futures research or strategic frameworks required
