Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing applications and biometric AI systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype future-tech solutions
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic breakthroughs to identify commercialization opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Coordinate with international regulatory bodies to shape policy frameworks for emerging tech
- Mentor junior researchers in foresight methodologies and ethical innovation principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into market-ready products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or climate-tech AI
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field or equivalent demonstrable impact
