Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to co-develop next-generation frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive trends in biotech, AI ethics, and spatial computing
- Translate technical concepts into compelling business cases for executive stakeholders and investors
- Develop governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Mentor a team of futurists and technologists to cultivate a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record developing commercialization strategies for frontier technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field with PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems including Web3, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Institute) or technology foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published research on technological singularity implications or societal impact of AI
