Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen prototypes (AR/VR, AI agents, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in quantum, nano, and AI domains
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders including the World Economic Forum
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Drive innovation through design thinking workshops and rapid sprints
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging technologies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier journals
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Fluency in futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
