Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and emerging innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AI ethics frameworks
- Analyze emerging technologies (Web4.0, biotech integration, spatial computing) for competitive advantage
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI across all business units
- Manage a $5M+ R&D budget for future technology incubation projects
- Represent the company at global tech summits and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in technology innovation
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or biotechnology convergence
- Certification in Technology Strategy (e.g., CTS, TOGAF) or equivalent experience
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M and cross-functional teams of 50+
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, or industry publications)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
