Responsibilities
- Lead strategic R&D initiatives for 2026+ technology roadmap, focusing on AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate-positive innovation
- Direct cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers and researchers in prototyping next-gen systems
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with government/academic institutions
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies with commercial potential
- Present findings at global forums like Web Summit and CES Future Stage
- Mentor emerging talent through our Future Leaders incubation program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record delivering commercialized quantum/AI technologies (3+ products)
- Expertise in emerging standards: IEEE 2026 Tech Framework, ISO Quantum Computing Ethics
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal/state innovation grants (SBIR/DOE)
- Published in Nature/Science with >500 citations in future technologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects preferred
