Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and carbon-neutral infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for healthcare, logistics, and energy sectors
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for 2026 tech adoption
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies including neuromorphic chips and decentralized AI networks
- Present technology forecasts and impact assessments to the board of directors and investors
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for emerging technology incubation projects
- Author thought leadership publications on tech's role in solving 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue impact
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent demonstrable expertise)
- Deep understanding of Moore's Law evolution, quantum advantage timelines, and AGI development paths
- Published author in IEEE Spectrum, Nature Futures, or equivalent tier publications
- Experience with policy shaping for emerging technologies (e.g., NIST AI Framework, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or C++) and data modeling tools
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent foresight methodology
