Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with MIT/Stanford partners
- Translate emerging tech into patentable commercial applications
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and venture investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and startup incubator teams
- Anticipate geopolitical/regulatory impacts on tech adoption
Qualifications
- PhD in CS, AI, or Quantum Physics with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proven track record scaling tech from lab to market ($100M+ products)
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, etc.)
- Deep familiarity with ethical AI frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Executive presence with successful investor pitches ($10M+ funding)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud-native architectures
