- Conduct foresight research on emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology convergence)
- Partner with C-suite to secure $50M+ innovation funding through compelling investment narratives
- Establish ethical guardrails for autonomous systems and AI deployment
- Drive patent strategy for core innovations with 15+ annual filings
- Mentor junior futurists through our Emerging Tech Academy program
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in scaling breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI projects preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets from venture capital or government grants
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, Nature Futures, or equivalent
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (Palantir, Tableau, custom ML models)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
