Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 3-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, IoT) into product roadmaps
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility for R&D initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture and ethical innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, TOWS)
