Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Analyze market disruption potential of emerging technologies through proprietary foresight methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, neurotech, and climate tech ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
