Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 innovation framework and implementation roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead moonshot projects requiring 3-5 year development horizons
- Develop KPIs for measuring innovation ROI and strategic alignment
- Present innovation portfolios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-focused methodologies
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ landscape
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks and lean startup methodologies
- Strong financial modeling for long-term R&D investments
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent)
