Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future solutions and validate market viability
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate disruptions in global tech landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for high-impact initiatives
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Oversee R&D budget allocation and ROI analysis for future-focused projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of launching successful products/services based on emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or sustainable tech
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing R&D budgets >$5M
- Certification in strategic foresight, innovation management, or related field preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
