Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in quantum-secure communications and AI governance
- Architect circular economy models for IoT and smart city infrastructure
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire breakthrough startups
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical tech deployment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech with demonstrable impact on 2020+ innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in government or corporate innovation grants
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEPLE analysis, Delphi method)
- Track record of launching products with 1M+ users in emerging markets
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
