Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 5+ year impact horizons
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal skunkworks initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, Blue Ocean)
