Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate and evaluate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Build partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning skills with data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Machine Learning, Google Quantum AI)
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
