Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology sectors
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems and human-AI interfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage a $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching technologies adopted by 1M+ users
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, biocomputing, or AGI safety
- Experience with technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Toffler's Future Shock)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent
- Prior board-level experience in tech companies valued at $500M+
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech conferences
