Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing)
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA research initiatives
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $15M R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Anticipate geopolitical/regulatory impacts on emerging tech adoption
- Author white papers on AI safety and quantum ethics frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience scaling R&D from prototype to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology
- Executive presence with board-level presentation skills
- Security clearance preferred (DOD/NSA)
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives
