Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market predictions and societal shifts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential across AI, quantum, biotech, and climate tech domains
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board and executive leadership
- Build and manage a global network of technology futurists and domain experts
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with 5+ years at executive level
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with $10M+ impact or market disruption
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD or MBA preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published research, patents, or thought leadership in future technologies
