Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Identify and assess emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present futuristic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation culture through internal thought leadership programs
- Monitor global megatrends (climate, AI governance, demographic shifts) for strategic implications
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio of successfully implemented innovation strategies
