Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing sectors
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning documents for 2026 market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps and business strategy
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into executive-ready reports with data-driven recommendations
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and technological convergence to identify competitive advantages
- Drive organizational culture of adaptive innovation through training and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal transformation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to visualize future states for diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their systemic implications
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year horizons
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
