Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and global megatrends to forecast industry impacts through 2026
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for new product/service lines leveraging AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate disruptive business models
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots and competitive positioning in rapidly evolving markets
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Author visionary reports and frameworks guiding 5-year corporate strategy
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Business, or related field
- Certifications in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, CFS) preferred
- Portfolio published foresight work or successful innovation launches
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
