Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and sociocultural trends to forecast market opportunities through 2026
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to define organizational futures
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and presentations at global forums
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against strategic milestones
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or thought leadership in tech/innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through innovation sprints and strategy sessions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented through 2020-2025
