Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats/opportunities in biotech, space exploration, and decentralized systems
- Present strategic frameworks to executive boards and government policy committees
- Author white papers on technological singularity governance and human-machine symbiosis
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven allocation methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical foresight and systemic thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent transdisciplinary expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts with 85%+ accuracy (2018-2023)
- Deep proficiency in scenario planning tools (STEEP-PESTEL, Delphi Method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with quantum computing basics and generative AI ethics frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex future concepts into executable business strategies
- Public speaking record at TED, WEF, or equivalent global innovation forums
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent credential
