Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and market trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to align innovation roadmaps with future scenarios
- Produce high-impact scenario planning reports and risk assessments for executive decision-making
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry disruptors
- Develop and present future-focused thought leadership content for key stakeholders and investors
- Integrate sustainability and ethical impact considerations into long-term innovation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist analysis with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities and product roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning methodologies, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, neurotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite executives and boards
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
