Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications through scenario modeling and horizon scanning
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across verticals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist experts, startups, and academic partners
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, synthetic biology) and their societal impact
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful innovation implementations
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning frameworks)
