Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, social, and economic trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product ecosystems
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through executive briefings and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D to prioritize moonshot projects with 2026 commercialization targets
- Author thought leadership on future-proofing business models
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation ROI and trend adoption velocity
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with future-focused projects
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or AGI
- Certification in futures studies (e.g., CFSP) or advanced degree in foresight
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex scenarios
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or innovation roadmaps
- Ability to influence executive decisions without direct authority
