As a key member of our executive strategy team, you'll collaborate with R&D, product development, and leadership to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks. You'll leverage data-driven analysis, scenario planning, and cutting-edge research to provide actionable insights that drive innovation across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts impacting our industry
- Develop comprehensive 5-year innovation roadmaps with measurable milestones
- Conduct scenario planning workshops to prepare for multiple future outcomes
- Translate complex foresight into product development priorities and investment strategies
- Present trend analyses to C-suite executives and cross-functional stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation consulting, strategic foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and research methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, whitepapers, books)
