What you'll achieve:
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop future-proofing frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Deliver executive briefings and trend reports that shape strategic priorities
- Champion innovation culture through workshops and thought leadership
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions
Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social signals to identify disruptive opportunities
- Create scenario-based strategic plans for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering/product teams
- Present trend forecasts to investors and board members quarterly
- Develop patent strategies for emerging IP domains
- Lead external partnerships with research institutions and startups
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, climate tech, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in tech/economics publications
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Portfolio of future-proofing initiatives implemented at scale
