Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly futures reports on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Lead executive workshops on exponential technology adoption and societal implications
- Design innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across R&D, product, and marketing divisions
- Author thought leadership content for industry publications and conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic transformation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
