Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify strategic opportunities and threats
- Develop 5-10 year foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to translate foresight into initiatives
- Author high-impact trend reports and predictive models for investor and stakeholder communications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to forecast technological convergence points
- Champion agile experimentation methodologies to test future-facing hypotheses
- Mentor junior strategists in futures literacy and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
