Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate global technological, economic, and societal shifts through 2026
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to model disruption risks and opportunities across industries
- Translate complex future projections into actionable product roadmaps and innovation priorities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Author thought leadership content including trend reports and executive briefings
- Advise executive leadership on strategic investments in emerging markets and technologies
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario modeling, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, reports, books)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future insights
