Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-ready innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership on disruptive technologies
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing features and capabilities
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term business strategy
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 8+ years of foresight experience
- Proven track record in developing strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex scenarios to executive audiences
- Experience with data-driven trend analysis using predictive modeling tools
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation domains
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
